Your card needs to be registered to get access to this.Creative tech support will troubleshoot based on your description of the problem and the product you are using. You may have to go back and forth with them a few times and try a few things. When I had troubles with my x-fi card, Creative finally suggested a solution that worked.Turned out I just had to put my card in a different PCI slot. In this case I would contact Creative for online support. I pulled the card back out(wife hit the roof).and it worked great online last night and all of the times we have been online today no problem. Here is the exact card i bought.Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE, it has a sticker on the front that says "works with Vista" (Yes I have Vista).it has the EAX Advanced HD (which is what i need for my games).any other ideas?.thanks for the help by the way!!!!!! I mean it will be fine for maybe 1/2 hour or 2 hours and then blue screen. It seems to work great offline, sound is great for gaming.oh, i forgot to mention my kids even watched "Spiderman 3" with the sound card in.no problem.I cannot for the life of me figure out why my sound card doesn't like going online. My wife tried the computer a few hours later, and it crashed twice on her.both while online. THEN.I went online with my AOL dial-up and was online for about an hour or so.hit the print button.and boom.Blue screen of death.crash!.I booted back up, went online again, was online for 1-2 hours maybe and it did it again(this time while not hitting the print button, just clicking on a link somewhere). I was offline for about 2 hours enjoying the new sound card. It worked great.I played my new "Prison Tycoon 3" game no problem.
